
On 19th September, the first lesson of hydrogen energy in the month of hydrogen energy science popularisation of 2024 China-EU Hydrogen Energy Technology Innovation Centre kicked off. The centre ushered in the cooperation with China Hydrogen Energy Alliance, and under the guidance of Suzhou Changshu Science and Technology Association, invited more than 40 teachers and students from the IB International Department of Shihua Senior High School to jointly carry out a unique hydrogen energy journey of ‘knowing hydrogen, learning hydrogen and using hydrogen’.
In the course of the science popularisation activities, the teachers and students learned the basic knowledge of the whole industrial chain of hydrogen energy, including ‘production, storage, transportation, use and refilling’. In the ‘Learning Hydrogen Classroom’ session, Trace Technology explained to the students the current status of the ecological development of the hydrogen industry, the operating principle of hydrogen fuel cells, and the multiple application scenarios of hydrogen energy, which gave the students a deeper understanding of the source, development, application and safety of hydrogen energy.
In the ‘hydrogen’ experience session, the students were excited by the test-driving experience of the hydrogen-powered car.

‘How far can such a small hydrogen storage bottle power a ride? How much lighter will this vehicle be than a public bicycle?’ The students were full of curiosity about the ‘new’ hydrogen-assisted vehicle.
Under the guidance of professionals, everyone has test-drove the hydrogen power assisted vehicle of Trace Technology, and the lightweight riding experience brought by the environmentally friendly, convenient and efficient hydrogen power assisted vehicle has left a deep impression on everyone.
